In making the final choice of an agent to sell our house we were interested by your approach in making a private sale with the Jenman system for sale by contract. We have indeed been very pleased with the process which from first agreement at the end of January has seen your team achieve our nominated price (which was the high point of all agents estimates), by today, ie with the month of February.
The hardest part of the exercise was the decision between agents. Clearly the first of these was the process of private sale versus auction, which as you clearly pointed our often comes down to private sale after being passed in anyway. This decision having been made in favour of your team we were delighted with the speed and smoothness of the process.
You left us with no irritating instructions except to expect the first inspection after teh first week with the board up. True to your word after excellent exposure in advertising which you arranged without fuss you gave us 24 hour notice of the first inspection of vetted buyers. Within the following fortnight and a dozen private inspections with overnight warning, we had from you the offer we had sought. A very smooth run. Probably the few days cooling off period till the payment of the full deposit was the only time of slight anxiety.
